Even though it sat on my office desk as a backup drive (I never carried it around with my laptop, never exposed it to impact shocks or temperature changes) it just stopped working.Transcend didn't have any service centers "in my region" and they referred me to a retailer for service BUT I had to pay for the shipping to and from, and also be subject to service charges from the retailer.
